Issuance of Certificate of Exclusivity

ABIMED issues Certificates of Exclusivity, upon presentation of the necessary documentation in accordance with the Association’s criteria, only to member companies that are up to date with their membership dues and/or do not have any other type of restriction in accordance with the Bylaws. This document is usually requested by public authorities from companies interested in taking part in public tenders and importing specific health products.

The document confirms that the member is the exclusive representative of a certain company/manufacturer, in a certain territory or region, in the supply, sale, distribution and promotion of medical equipment and health products, providing technical assistance, warranty services, installation, preventive maintenance, operational training in equipment, among others, as the case may be.

The certificate is valid for a period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days, or exceptionally for specific periods, depending on the particularity of the situation and can be requested as follows: requested via e-mail: atestado@abimed.org.br.
