One of the companies featured in the Iniciativas em ESG – Associadas ABIMED magazine, Carl Zeiss has been outstanding in its adoption of sustainable practices, such as reducing the consumption of natural resources and proper waste management, which have enabled it to achieve the ISO 14001 environmental certification, a real milestone for the company.
Zeiss has focused its actions on three main pillars: climate action, such as reducing carbon emissions; circular economy, such as reducing waste production, reducing energy consumption and water resources; and social engagement, with corporate volunteering, generating a positive impact in the communities where it operates.
