The Brazilian Association of the Health Technology Industry (“ABIMED”), registered with CNPJ/ME under nº 01.450.951/0001-25, headquartered at Alameda dos Maracatins, 508 – 3rd floor, take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously. The present document (“Policy”) explains, in a clear and objective way, how we treat your personal data, what your rights are and how you can exercise them. Each user of this site will be referred to in this Policy as “You”.

This Policy applies to all individuals who in any way interact, access, or use the website, either through service channels or online forms.

Anonymization, blocking or deletion	You can request (a) the anonymization of your Personal Data, so that it can no longer be linked to You thus ceasing to be Personal Data; (b) blocking your Personal Data, temporarily suspending your ability to process data for certain purposes; and (c) the deletion of your Personal Data, in which case we must delete your Personal Data without possibility of reversal.
Portability	You may request that ABIMED provide you with your Personal Data in a structured and interoperable format aiming to transfer to a third party, provided that such transfer does not violate ABIMED’s intellectual property or business secrecy.
Information about sharing	You have the right to know which are the public and private entities with which ABIMED makes shared use of your Personal Data. If you have questions or want more details, you have the right to ask us for this information. Depending on the case, we may limit the information provided to You if its disclosure could violate ABIMED’s intellectual property or privileged information.
Information about the possibility of not consenting	You have the right to receive clear and complete information about the possibility and consequences of not providing consent, when requested by ABIMED. Your consent, where necessary, must be free and informed. Therefore, whenever we ask for your consent, you are free to withhold it – in such cases, it is possible the services cannot be provided.
Revocation of consent	If you have consented to any processing of your Personal Data, you can always choose to withdraw your consent. However, this will not affect the legality of any Processing conducted prior to revocation. If you withdraw your consent, we may be unable to provide you with certain services, but we will notify you when this occurs
Opposition	The law authorizes the processing of Personal Data even without your consent or a contract with us. In these situations, we will only process your Personal Data if we have legitimate reasons to do so, such as, for example, when necessary to ensure the safety of our roads. If you do not agree with any purpose of processing your Personal Data, you may object, requesting its interruption.

For your safety, whenever you submit a request to exercise your rights, ABIMED may request additional information and/or documents attesting your identity, seeking to prevent fraud. We do this to ensure everyone’s safety and privacy.

In certain cases, ABIMED may have legitimate reasons for failing to comply with a request to exercise rights. These situations include, for example, cases in which a disclosure of specific information could violate ABIMED’s intellectual property rights or privileged information, as well as cases in which requests for deletion of data cannot be met due to the existence of an obligation by ABIMED to retain data, either to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or to enable the company’s defense in disputes of any nature.

Also, certain requests may not be responded to immediately, but ABIMED undertakes to respond to all requests within a reasonable period and always in compliance with the legislation.
