Silvio Garcia Júnior is ABIMED’s Manager of Institutional and Government for São Paulo, reinforcing the entity’s team of collaborators. Silvio has professional certification in ESG and Project Management from FGV. He is a lawyer graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-SP), with a postgraduate degree in Public Law with an emphasis on public management and an MBA in Economics and Management with an emphasis on Government Relations from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

The new Manager held the positions of Deputy Secretary of State in the Government of the State of São Paulo and Parliamentary Secretary in the Chamber of Deputies, in addition to having worked in the leadership of Projects and Government Relations at the São Paulo Agency for Investment Promotion and Competitiveness (InvestSP), where he coordinated the interlocution between investors and Executive and Legislative bodies, at all levels of Government, contributing to the attraction of private investments to the State of São Paulo. He also worked at the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo (ALESP) and was Director at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP).

With his specialization in Public Management and Government Relations, Silvio adds strength to ABIMED in its strategic work with public agencies and mapping of processes and legislative acts that interest the medical devices sector.
