Vi-Tech 7 magazine is now available, with several relevant analyses for the medical devices sector. An article presents the conclusions of a recent sector study carried out by ABIMED, which projects growth in the domestic market for 2023 and stability for 2024, in line with the country’s economic forecasts. The projection for domestic production of medical devices in 2024 exceeds import trends, which may indicate the strengthening of the competitiveness of Brazilian products.

Another analysis shows the challenges and expectations of companies in Latin America for 2024, prepared by Ernest & Young. Vi-Tech also interviewed Patrícia Frossard, the first woman to take the helm of ABIMED’s Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 biennium.
