The Legislative Agenda for Industry – a document that the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) draws up every year and which is important for interaction between the industrial sector, parliamentarians, the federal government and civil society – is due to be launched in March.

The document contains a series of proposals, discussed by industry leaders and representatives, to improve the business environment, encourage investment and increase the competitiveness of the Brazilian economy.

The regulation of the Tax Reform, approved at the end of last year, will be one of the main issues in the National Congress in 2024 and one of the points of attention throughout the year. In addition, other important issues and projects to improve the business environment and attract investment should be included in the priorities of the legislative agenda, such as the so-called “green agenda” (energy transition, regulation of the carbon market, green hydrogen and offshore wind energy).
